Hurricane Relief

October 13 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Below is a list of A LOT of ways to make a difference. If you have friends or family who are not affiliated with a church but would like to make a difference please forward this message to them.

  1. Flood Buckets. The Conference delivered buckets yesterday to multiple places in our District and they are almost gone at this point. More are coming but this will be a significant and time sensitive need. (Amazon wishlist link below).
  2. Financial Donations are always the easiest way to help us get what is needed where it’s needed. (Link below). Please select “missions” in the drop-down tab or label in the memo line of a check.
  3. Drinking Water – most of the stores shelves are empty now and this is a critical need.
  4. Other Needs- Avery and Watauga County needs food (snack food and easy to consume items), diapers, paper towels, toilet tissue, feminine hygiene, and pet food.
  5. Any of you folks with a truck or large SUV that might be willing to help us haul stuff up the mountain when needed, please let us know. I’d like to create a list of folks willing to be on call for us to deploy as needed over the next several weeks and months. This will be a long-haul recovery.
  6. Prayers for all of the personnel on the ground and those with loved ones in the area.
